      Comments
Beautifully cold and windy today in the western Uinta. Skies varied from Scattered to Few and wind transport was prevalent throughout the day. Many slopes were being cross loaded by the moderate to strong SW winds. Natural wind slabs and human triggered cornices were noted during the day. 12" to 14" of new medium density snow was otherwise well bonded to the old snow surfaces, which were mostly sun crusts and wind scoured from the brief period of high pressure early last week.
